Today for breakfast I had 2 fried eggs -- the pan was very lightly buttered but I did use butter -- with 2 slices of whole grain white toast with margarine and 8 ounces V8. I'm headed to a picnic, where I will be focusing on veggie trays, but I am packing pistachios for a snack. Also: I'll be getting exercise today, since Shae will be in and out of the pool all day.

Next week I am trying a couple of new products that I have not used before: Chobani yogurt, Kashi GoLean Crisp! toasted berry crumble cereal, and Thomas' mini-bagels made with whole grain. You might have eaten them before -- if so, let me know what you think. Otherwise, I'll fill you in once I try them. I can report that Shae had a mini-bagel this morning (with butter and jelly) and she loved it.
