These are the same flowers that came last Thursday, but I think it looks like a completely different arrangement now. Partly that is because it is -- the roses are kaput, so I took them out this morning, and I got rid of some of the mess of greens that was in the middle, and kind of fluffed everything else back up -- but mostly it is because these stargazer lilies have opened. I love Oriental lilies of all stripes, but stargazers are my very favorite, I think. Now this arrangement looks more "wild" and fresh-cut to me, which is the way I like my bouquets. Ruffled and unruly.
Also: it smells positively divine up in here. You can smell these flowers all the way down the hall. I've been getting a lot of visitors. :-)
