I briefly debated making this page "Wizard of Oz" themed, but I decided against it. Primarily because I didn't have any Munchkin graphics.
EDITED 11/03/09: On further consideration ... I am just not sure about this. I love the twig, and I love the background paper, but I don't know how I feel about the frame and the word art. Something is off. The blue frame is definitely wrong, at least in this application; I need more of that color somewhere else to balance it out, I think. And the proportion of the lettering is wrong -- it's just too big. I'm going to try this one again and see what else I can come up with.
if possible, i think you should work in the shot of the bottom of her skirt and the ruby slippers from dress rehearsal. not that you'll forget, but it's hard to tell what she's dressed for halloween.
ReplyDeletealso agree that the word art is too big. not sure if you can edit that at all, but if you could throw some turquoise specs into that, might help you balance the picture frames.
k. i wondered about the shoes - i have something i can try to work in. and i might have some glitter splatters i can throw in behind the lettering to tie it together.
